Everything measured.
Two belts in one. Release the buckle, turn the strap over, click it back. Black one side, dark brown the other — one belt on the hook instead of two.
How it works
The buckle is a clamp, not a prong. It grips the end of the strap rather than pushing through a hole, and that is what lets it rotate. No holes to punch, none to stretch out of shape — and the strap is finished on both faces, so neither side is a lining. There is no “right” side.
Black and dark brown
The two colours that actually get worn. Black for the office and anything formal; dark brown for tan and oxblood shoes, denim, and everything at the weekend. Between them they cover a working week without a second belt.
The leather
Ceylon leather, semi-vegetable tanned, tanned and made in Sri Lanka. Finished so it carries its own grain and stretch marks on both faces — not faults, just the reason no two are the same. 35 mm wide, which sits well in dress and everyday trousers alike.
Your size — please read this bit
It is not your trouser size. Lay a belt you already wear flat and measure from the fold at the buckle to the hole you actually use. That is the number we need.
A belt cut to a trouser waist comes up about two inches short. With a clamp buckle there are no spare holes to fall back on, so the measurement matters more here than on a normal belt.
Not sure? Tick the box above and we will message you before anything is cut.
Looking after it
Wipe it down when it gets wet and let it dry away from direct heat — never on a radiator or in the sun. Condition it two or three times a year, both faces. We make one for exactly this: Ceylon Leather Conditioner.
Made after you order
Cut, edged and finished by hand in Rathmalana. 5–7 working days.
Free repairs for life. A new buckle, restitching, a shortened strap — bring it back and we will sort it out.
Straight answers.
What if I measure it wrong?
+
Message us. Adding holes or taking length off is easy — bring it in or post it and we will sort it.
The one thing we cannot do is make a belt longer, so if you are between two numbers, give us the bigger one. And if you genuinely do not know, tick the box on the product page and we will message you before a knife goes near the leather.
35 mm or 40 mm?
+
35 mm for the office. Dress and suit trousers have narrower loops, and it sits flat under a jacket.
40 mm for everything else. Jeans, chinos and cargos are cut wider, and a narrow belt looks lost in them.
Buying one only? Buy the width you wear five days a week.
When will it reach me?
+
Every belt is cut after you order, so allow 5–7 working days before it leaves us.
Anywhere outside Sri Lanka — the rate depends on the country, so it is quoted per order. Message +94 77 969 6203 on WhatsApp with the piece and where it is going, and we will send the exact figure before you pay a rupee.
Can you repair it later?
+
Yes — for as long as you own it, and we do not charge for the labour. Not for the first year. For as long as it is yours.
A new buckle, restitching, another hole. You cover only the materials a repair actually needs, and the shipping both ways.
How do I look after it?
+
Wipe it down when it gets wet and let it dry away from direct heat — never on a radiator or in the sun.
Condition it two or three times a year. That is the whole routine. More than that softens the fibres and the belt loses its shape. We make one for exactly this: Ceylon Leather Conditioner.
